--NSA plans to expand collection of American phone metadata--
SvaraRaderaPublished time: February 20, 2014
Lawsuits waged at the United States government over the National Security Agency’s controversial phone data collection program may actually cause the NSA to hold onto information even longer, a new report reveals.
A handful of lawsuits have been filed against the US government and the administration of President Barack Obama since last June when former intelligence contractor Edward Snowden revealed that the NSA has been routinely compelling the nation’s telecommunications companies for the metadata pertaining to millions of Americans. Pres. Obama has since submitted to calls for reforming that program, and even instructed Congress recently to find an alternative approach to storing metadata. According to the Wall Street Journal, however, the NSA may have to hold onto that data for a little bit longer.
On Wednesday this week, WSJ journalists Devlin Barrett and Siobhan Gorman wrote that that the lawsuits filed against the Obama administration over the NSA program may cause some rather unintended consequences to occur. Because the NSA may have to argue those cases in court, they wrote, any intelligence it collected that pertains to the plaintiffs may have to be retained indefinitely pending trial. [...]

Obama Regime Using Ukraine Crisis They Created To Hypocritically Justify Sanctions And Other Anti-Russian Agendas
SvaraRaderaSource: Lee Rogers, Daily Slave/BLN
The on-going situation in the Ukraine is really quite ridiculous upon analyzing the hypocritical responses we have now seen from individuals within the Obama regime.
It is confirmed that the United States government is spending billions of dollars to finance a large scale controlled opposition movement against the Russian friendly Ukrainian government.
Many of these protesters and rioters are actually getting paid by money that comes directly from Washington DC and funneled through various non-governmental organizations or NGOs. Groups like USAID, National Endowment for Democracy and the George Soros funded Open Society Institute are all believed to be heavily involved in supporting these Ukrainian opposition forces.
These NGOs claim they are trying to spread freedom and democracy to the Ukrainian people when in reality they are nothing more than fronts to help overthrow the existing government.
Say what you want about the current government led by sitting President Viktor Yanukovych but he was elected into power so the Ukraine technically already has what you could call democracy.
The problem is that it is not a democracy friendly to the United States and assorted Zionist interests which is why it is being targeted for elimination.[...]

---Obama may escalate role in Syrian war---
SvaraRaderaFebruary 21, 2014
Source: Yahoo News
Americans unquestionably oppose any U.S. military intervention in Syria of the “boots on the ground” variety.
They’re not fans of the idea of air strikes there, either. But how would they respond to narrowly tailored attacks targeting Islamist fighters who may be looking to use that country’s lawless war zones as a staging ground for potential attacks on U.S. allies, U.S. interests and possibly the United States itself?
Would such a limited approach really help increasingly desperate moderate fighters squeezed between those extremists and strongman Bashar Assad’s troops? And what risk would it pose in terms of sucking the United States into an escalating role in the Syrian conflict?
Those are central, pressing questions as President Barack Obama assesses his handling of arguably the worst foreign policy disaster of his administration and gives fresh thought to a limited military role, according to current and former administration officials and congressional aides.
“Right now we don’t think that there is a military solution, per se, to the problem,” Obama said last week at a joint press conference with his closest ally on the issue, French President Francois Hollande.
“But the situation is fluid, and we are continuing to explore every possible avenue to solve this problem.” [...]
