Donetsk People's Republic has
declared itself a sovereign state. It follows a referendum on the status of the area which has seen massive anti-government protests in recent. Lugansk has followed suit in declaring itself a sovereign state just after announcing the results of its referendum.

On May 11, 2014 voting in a referendum was suppose to take place in several regions of Ukraine. Instead, the coup-installed US-backed Yatsenyuk regime killed Ukrainian citizens trying to exercise their democratic rights to vote peaceful in the referendum.
Instead of allowing inhabitants of Krasnoarmeysk, in Donetsk Oblast, vote on their future, the US-backed Yatsenyuk regime has sent armed forces to prevent them them from voting under the pretext of anti-terrorism operations.

Instead of allowing inhabitants of Krasnoarmeysk, in Donetsk Oblast, to vote on their future, the US-backed Yatsenyuk regime has sent armed forces to prevent them them from voting under the pretext of anti-terrorism operations.
The civilians in the video can be heard yelling "fascists" over and over again at the armed men sent by the coup-installed regime in Kiev.
