Daily Record 2015-01-07.

POLICE deployed up to 10 police vehicles and officers in riot gear - to deal with a television set on too loud.
Three teenagers and a 22 year old man, who had been watching the box, were eventually arrested and the wide-screen TV itself was carried away by two police officers, after the incident developed into an eight and a half hour siege.
At one point an ambulance was sent to the scene.
The four youngsters were arrested and charged with causing a disturbance, after they failed to let police into their property.
Officers went to the flat, in a five story block in Pine Grove, Alloa, Clackmannanshire, in response to a noise complaint from neighbours on Monday.
They initially arrived at the scene around 1.30am.
As the situation developed into a siege-type scenario, several police vehicles were deployed and a riot squad.
One of the accused exited the property around 6.30am voluntarily and finally, at around 9.45am, police entered the flat and arrested the remaining three.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said today/yesterday [WED] that the occupants had "refused to interact" with officers and would not leave the property.

The spokesperson said: "A number of Police Scotland vehicles were present, but it was a controlled situation and everything was always done in a controlled manner.
"Four people have been arrested and charged under Section 38 CJLSA 2010 (threatening or abusive behaviour)."
Liam Young, 16, Kirsty Taylor, 18, Ryan Kenneth Douglas, 22, and Carla Ann Gruar, 17, will all appear in Alloa Sheriff Court at a later date in connection with the allegations.
Sources on social media who claim to have witnessed the situation reported seeing over 10 police vehicles at the scene.
One of the accused, Kirsty Taylor, wrote on her Facebook page at 4.30am on January 5: "Nothing better to do dafty's.
"You can keep on knockin but you can't come in.
"We get along with the voices in our heads."
The property was later made secure and a council employee boarded the door up.
Officers were seen taking a number of electronic items including the flat screen TV which led to the noise complaint.
